Medical Research

There is a lot of talk about vaccines, immunity, research these days. We are in the middle of a pandemic, suddenly, we all feel the importance of medical research. The focus is on the Covid_19 situation, but, who knows what it will be next time. Researchers are working on many projects, doing their best trying to make life easier and safer for all of us. Having collaborated with several partners over the past several years, I will share some stories here.

Surgery is done to a pig in order to test the procedure before similar procedures are done on humans.

Technological advances in medicine means less complications on humans during surgery.

Surgery on a hand in order to heal pain in nerves can be done better thanks to resent research on this.

Procedure can often be performed using similar techniques in different parts of the body.

A pig who underwent surgery is recovering in a special recovery unit at the hospital in Utrecht, Holland.
